this is one of my students, in her fifth lesson with me, first time she felt ready to ride her own horse :)



(n.b., i have my doubts about this kind of bitless bridle, which seems to act on the poll -- the horse was very stoppy, and i think you may get more configurable communication with something down at the other end of the head, like to use the opening rein. but it's what we had and everything went fine!)
