Worst Riding Moments
So, it's no secret we love snarking fellow posters. There's nothing that stirs a fire faster than someone posting a video or pictures of their riding. Forbid the person actually asks for critiques!
The truth is, we've all been there. If there's photographic or video evidence of our riding, there is at least one moment captured where you go, "oooh, that was bad," and burn the evidence.
For those of you who still have documentation, post your worst riding moment for giggles. Add the story behind the moment.
I feel this will be an exercise in resisting the snark temptation. Also, perhaps therapeutic in a PostSecret sort of way.
Oh, Tex. This was my first show; it was combined event but I only did an intro dressage test. At this point, I'd only had about 4-6 riding lessons. And yes, I did say dressage. Tex had the patience of a saint and was my favorite lesson horse. I showed him for a few summers.
Last I heard, he was retired to his favorite rider's backyard where he munches grass all day long with another retired lesson horse.
We got second place. Out of three riders.
