Attention Hunters - help!

Me, a lifelong eventer, groom for show jumpers, and she who loathes all things Hunter, has just been asked to be a Hunter judge for the local show tomorrow

Just out of curiosity, why did you say yes if you don't really know anything about hunters?

I don't think she is saying she knows nothing about hunters, only that she's been away from that world for a while, and possibly never judged. I'd also assume that because this is such a last minute request, it was harder to turn down...

Well the first thing she said was she was a lifelong eventer and hates hunters, which makes me believe she was never involved in it at all.

It's not that I don't know anything about hunters. quietann his the nail on the head. I was asked because all out local "name" hunters are down in California, and when they caught wind that I was in town for a few days they called me. I thought it weird that they wanted me over my sister - who actually showed more hunter than I did - but oh well. I did start out doing hunter shows when I first started showing - they were all that was around at the time - but it was a long time ago
