I have a penchant for horses with people names, so my suggestion inevitably has to follow that pattern - nicholas purcell! the irish connection would work well with his connemara blood, or, if you prefer the 21st cent oxford classicist, they are both bays (I'm sure a brown-mustached man won't mind being called a bay!). otherwise I'd call him saint nicodemus - he looks like he holds a lot of miracular power as well. :)

Saint Nicholas --- since all his other names seem to origniate from Nicholas.
Nearly Headless Nick --- *headdesk* (my husband's idea)
Prince Nicolas --- Prince of Belgum born in 2005--- his father is very involved in animal welfare and the environment
Le Petite Nicolas --- Series of French childrens books.

Thats all I've got right now. I prefer to have my names mean something and fit with the personality of the horse. So only you (and his owner) could know what name is best.

Nearly Headless Nick had me giggling! It would be really ironic to name him that as he never loses his head lol!

From the pictures...I see a Moe.
Mo' Money =P

But including "Nick"...
Nickel and Dime

I'll think on it.

That's interesting, Moe... Suppose it's hard to see them as anything other than the name known to you!
Nickle and Dime is nice!
