ZOMG, YOU GUYS. It is just over two weeks 'til Season 4! Can you believe it, I can't believe it! Are you excited, cause I'm excited, I've never been so excited, well except for the time that I saw you and went >gasp<, but I mean really, who could top that?!
*fanfare, sparkles, etc*
I just wanted to take a minute and remind everyone of our spoiler policy and General How Things Go On New Episode Days. Consider it new info for new family members, and a nice refresher course for those of us who have been hanging around here long enough to know the drill by now. Cool? Cool.
Okay, so. First things first.
SPOILERS ARE A GREAT BIG NO.
I know, I know, it's just a cartoon, wtf who cares about spoilers, gahhhhh I wanna talk about it out in the open.
Tough.
Remember that we have people from all over the world, in all sorts of different time zones, in our little community, and people who might work weekends, have things to do, etc who might not be able to catch an episode as it airs. So try and keep all spoiler-y content either under a cut or in the episode discussion post. This includes questions, discussion, fanart, icons, customs based on new characters, etc. When in doubt, err on the side of a cut-tag. I would say... for about two weeks following an episode's original air date. Sound good?
If you goof up on the spoiler thing, I'm not saying anything bad is going to happen to you, but I give everyone in the community free reign to spam you with gifs. Mmkay?
Please do remember the rules of the community as well. Be excellent to each other. Watch the use of Unnamed Pony's fanon name in comments to people who don't use it. Don't be a dick. You know, the usual.
Since I have a canine alarm clock that alerts me prances all over me when it's time to get up and take her outside, I will always be up well in time for the episode. If I think I may not be, I'll put the post up before I go to bed Friday night. I will locate the links to streams for us non-Hub having people and make a post roughly an hour to a half-hour prior to the airtime of the episode, Eastern Time (Answer me this someone: Do we have an airtime? Is it still 10AM Eastern?). By all means, come in and join the party! We always have a good time! Whenever a YouTube link is found, the post'll be updated with that info. ADDENDUM TO THIS: Last year, it was pointed out to me that I should also be including an iTunes link, and I will do so starting with the first episode. It might not happen right as soon as the link becomes available, because I'm usually off to do errands as soon as the show goes off-air, but it will happen, I promise. Thank you ungulata for the reminder last year!
