Stupid children...

I have to repost this, just because I honestly LOLed when I saw it.

In other news, I think I am sick. Throat hurts, slight headache, cough...seems like strep to me, so this might be a short day here. Not a great time for me to get sick either, considering mom is coming home from the hospital either tomorrow or Thursday. Suckage. I have to call the doctor today and either a) try to convince them to give me a no-visit perscription for penaciilin or 2) go in for a quick throat culture within the next 24 hours and then get the perscription. Wish me luck.

As for my weekend, it was a good time. Friday afternoon was the work "meeting" at the Green Briar. Free drinks are always welcomed. The alumni deal for SC was that night, but since mom was in the hospital, figured I'd go visit her instead. Her durgery did go well, btw. So, visited her for most of the night, came home and slept.

On Saturday Christina and I drove to the city of sin early to get the refund check from Mazda cashed. Then, drove to my CU to deposit it, then we went to Sal's for lunch, which was actually pretty good. After that, we went and visited my mom. Left there and came back to the house, and basically napped during the sox game. After that, we headed to Jamie's place for dinner. Erich made some good stir fry. We also got to meet Jamie's new cat, and it seems just as psycho as Lily.
After dinner, we headed off to Megan's party in Boston (Allston, really). The party was fun...it was very low key, since none of us were really drinking all too much, and Jamie, C-Lo, and I didn't know anyone there. It was nice to see Megan again though. Left there, stopped at Taco Bell (mmmmmmm), dropped Jamie and Erich off, then headed home.

Sunday I headed to the hospital early to visit mom while Christina went shopping. She was doing much better than the day before. Stayed there for a while, came back to watch a little football, then Christina and I headed off to celebrate 3 months in Rockport. It was such a nice day! The weather was perfect, there were a lot of people there, but it wasn't too crowded. We went into shop, got some food, and just enjoyed the day. I bought a mini replica of a Les Paul that was made out of real guitar wood...hand painted as well. I also bought Christina a pendant and got mom some fudge too. It was a very fun day!

So, that's the weekend. This week does not stray from the typical. The weekend is still up in the air, except for Saturday...going to Brian's game and then maybe out to dinner too. Otherwise, I am free. Want to do something? Let me know.
