Z weekend

Check that link in the music spot...thing...to hear some demolicious tunes from the Bleuster. Some good sounds coming from there. Lets hope Aware likes the songs, and Bleu's 'tude goes through some adjustments. My fave so far: Glass Houses. Let me know what you think of the musica.

Now, to the weekend. Friday was work. During work we had another one of those lame-ass blitzes. In short, a blitz is a contest. The one we were playing on Friday was that for every appt. set, you would get a point in the board. With that, you could also take a point away from someone else. The person with the most appt. set (total) and the person with the most points overall would win cash prizes.
Now, blitzes suck simply because everyone in the office gets so cut-throat in nature that a fight breaking out would not be a surprise. However, this particular blitz was especially rough. Why? Well, because someone in the office decided to cheat and said he set 6 appts. in 2 hours (nearly impossible) when he really only set 2. So, this person was DQed, but everyone in the office was still bullshit about it and no one was in good spirits.
So, our employers, being the cool shits that they are, chaged the game. They said that for every appt. set between 3 and 4 there would be a $10 reward. Then, at 4, we were closing up shop early and indulging in company-burchased alcoholic beverages!! Woot! So I made a quick $20, and then got to drink free beer (the theme of the weekend)! Awesome way to end the day!

Friday night was fun. I took Jamie out for her birthday dinner, a month and a day late. We went to Olive Garden in Manchvegas. The food was really good, and quite filling. It was a good night...its been a while since we spent some "alone time" together. Lol. Hopefully, we can do it more often now.

Saturday was basically lounging around all day until the Stonehill Century Club Banquet. It started at 7:30, so I drove down to Tom's around 7:10, expecting to leave around 7:20. However, I walked into Tom's to him not being showered and having the clothes he was wearing in the wash. Wonderful. Needless to say we were a tad tardy. The shindig was a great time though! Got to see Meg, Palmer, Jim, and others. Also ran into Erin Ward and Sandy Parker as well, which was fun. Tom, Jim, and I also went over to Corr to visit Liz Regan. Also got to say hi to Allison as well! It was a good time, not to mention all the free alcohol (good alcohol too!). I was a tad upset that only two people called to meet up with me, with one actually making the effort to try and find me while I was on campus. Shame on all the rest of you!
So, things were dying down so we left there around 11 and headed over to Janie's place to hang out. People present: Janie, Jim, Padraic, Janie's cousin Colleen, this kid DJ, Tom, Meg, and Plamer. Meg and Palmer took off after like 3 minutes cuz Meg was tired and they had to take care of a pet of some sort. Then, we started up with the drinking games. Two of DJ's female friends arrived at this point, but both left after one drink/round of Fuck The Dealer. Tom had Greg and Drew pick him up because he had made plans with them earlier, so he was out as well. The remainder of us played drinking games for a while (such as Fuck the Yankees Fan (*cough-colleen-cough*). Then, we just outright drank. We also talked, had debates about the original line-up of TGIF (if anyone knows this info, please leave a comment), talked extensively about the music industry, drank more, Brad Jaworskiied Padraic since he passed out first (lol), talked more about random shit, listened to Colleen complain about the sun coming up, took 2 hours to figure out sleeping arrangements, and then Colleen proceeded to threaten the well-being of my special area if I did not vacate the couch so she could sleep (she is not a good sharer!). I decided to take off then, since sleeping on the floor was not on my list of to-do's for the day. So, I drove home at 7am, got home a little before 8 and crashed! It was a really fun night though!

Today I slept for all of 5 hours, watched football, and now I am here. This week is work, of course. Thursday is the company holiday party, Friday is Allison's b-day in Boston, and the rest of the weekend is up in the air, with a possible trip to both St A's (to see Sarah) and Stonehill (to buy Jill her first scorpion bowl) in the shuffle. We shall see. For now, I am going to get football stats, check on fantasy stuff, and prolly nap.
