Drought

I think this is the longest I have ever gone w/o updating the LJ (not including weeks of vacations where computer access was not negotiable). I know all you kiddies have been starving, so here ya go!

So, where to begin...since my life is rather boring, I'll go from last weekend. Friday was the usual routine of getting frustrated with the crap on TV and going to bed around 9:30. Saturday...there was tentative plans all week to hit Stonehill, since I have yet to visit this year. However, those plans were dashed when I found out there was only going to be 11 people on campus, none of whom I knew. This drops my record to about 0 and 24 in failed plans to visit Stonehill. Anyway, I ended up going over to Kim's place to watch American Beauty for the millionth and a half time. We then tried to watch Vanilla Sky, but both of us started to doze off...we are SO fun!
Sunday was quite fun though. Went to St. Anselm's in the afternoon to meet up with Sarah. Such a fun time! We chilled out for a bit and chatted, then we headed out and TRIED to find Frettellos, but our little adventure took us to the other side of Manchvegas. We attempted to go to Olive Garden, but it was a pretty long wait (we were told 45 mins, but there were a ton of people in front of us...looked more like 75 minutes). So, we went across the street to Unos. Our waiter there was like The Flash mixed with a little bit of the Soup Nazi. He never stood at any table for more than 14 seconds. If you didn't answer his questions within 4 seconds he would leave. Kinda odd, but we had a laugh about it. After dinner, we went to the Mall of New Hampshire so I could try a bleep, which is supposedly this amazing candy that "explodes" in your mouth. I felt no explosion, and I am still quite disapointed. After that fiasco, we headed back to her place and chatted, watched some football, and hung out for the rest of the night. I honestly had a wonderful time, and I AM sure about that. :o)

Monday commenced the work week. Nothing too special, but I did hit quota for the month already. That's a big check in the plus column. It means that I won't be going nuts at the end of the month trying to close any deals, and that is ALWAYS a good thing. It was a very slow week as far as running and setting demos goes, but I'm still second in the office w/ demos run (due to my big week last week), so its fine. On Wednesday night I met up with Jon, Allison, and Hizzle at The Sports Zone. That was a good time...always fun to hang out with them. And yes, I did have to work on Thursday. No, it was not a fun day.

Friday night was another fun night with Sarah. Went right up to St. A's after work, picked her up (she looked absolutely stunning!), and went off to Fretellos. After some searching and some turning around we finally found it! WOOT! The food was good...not great, but good. Honestly, I have had better italian food elsewhere, but it wasn't bad. After the meal we headed to the movies to see Ray. It was a really good movie...a bit sad and maybe focused a little too much on the negativeness of his life, but a good movie nonetheless. Jamie Foxx should get a nod for Best Actor because he did an amazing job, but I don't think the movie will get any awards. After the movie we headed back to Sarah's and chilled out for the rest of the night. It was another good time with her. Hopefully there will be more in the future.

Last night was Jon's birthday celebration. Erich came over here around 5:30 and we chilled and had a beer (or, in Erich's case, 2 and a half beers). We then went to pick up the birthday boy and headed to Coyle's. Pregamed there for a while, met up with some peeps (Allison, Melinda, Jen B., and others) and then headed off to The Harp in Beantown.
It was actually quite a fun time. We got into Boston, and the garage I wanted to park in (which was 2 blocks down the street from The Harp) was "full." I wanted to turn around to check it again, but as we were driving down commercial I was being told to pull into anywhere that had a big white "P" in front of it. So, what ended up happening is that we parked a good mile away from the harp. Not my fault, since I intended to park a lot closer. However, as we were walking sans jackets (and the ladies w/o proper footwear), I was of course being blamed for the massive hike. However, I stand by the fact that it was not my fault.
ANYWAY, The Harp was a good time. Got in there, and immediately recognized a group of people from Stonehill (not sure of this group's names, but they did graduate with me). Then, ANOTHER group of Stonehill kids came in, this group including Will O'Connell and Julie Aresco, whom I do know. So, for most of the night Melinda and I were kinda floating between groups. It was a good time. I was trying to hook Allison up with Will, but she wasn't feeling it. We tried to reassure her that he is filthy rich and there was no need to worry about a long term situation, but she wasn't having it. Haha. Oh well.
It was a really fun night though. Things started off slow, but it turned out to be quite enjoyable. Good friends = good times. Jon enjoyed the night as well (other than Tammy being a bitch), so that was also good. Closed the bar, left, got home around 3am and crashed.

Now, I am here. Football is on soon, so that will distract me from the depression of knowing I have to go back to work tomorrow. Otherwise, you'll just have to wait til my next update. Til then.
