Major Updates!
First and foremost, THEY DID IT!!! The Sox are in the series...WOOT!! This proves to be quite the series...looking forward to it IMENSELY!! I'm calling it now...Sox in Six!
On a side note, I am peeved by fair-weather fans. Some of us have been behind the Sox aaaallll season long, supporting them at the high's and lows. It upsets me that now, people who could give two-shits less about the Sox all season long, are sporting the "Go Red Sox" in their profiles and such. Give me a break...you didn't care about them all season, so why start now? Cuz they are actually doing well? Please. Go back to doing what you were doing before you heard the Red Sox made it to the big show.
Second, the iPod deal is null for now. Dan provided me with an XP disc, but it didn't work. So, iPod plans are on hold for now.
Third, the situation with Jade is...unknown. I really have no way of contacting her at all (no #'s were exchanged) and I feel bad shoving Ski in the middle just because he is the mutual contact. She does have my business card, but I'm pretty sure she's mad busy with the whole law school thing during normal business hours. So, for now, things have stalled a bit. I'll see what I can do about a jump start over the next couple days.
I guess that's it for updates. My life is rather boring. Work is going well. Its been a slow month for the company, so they are breathing down everyone's necks about workin harder. The sales team feels the brunt of this, because being at the bottom of the hill we absorb the most momentum from this pressure. A lot of people are talking about quitting, which would not be good. I hope things pick up soon!
This weekend is still in question. Tonight, I am sleeping...a lot. Those late games were KILLER this week! I don't even want to think about how bad this upcoming week will be! Tomorrow is a day at Dad's...maybe go to lunch or something. Tomorrow night is hanging out with Kim, Erich, maybe Jon, and others TBD. Maybe a Boston trip? Who knows.
