The Weekend
Last night wasn't as bad as my last post alludes to. The night was a blast, and I had a great time! Sure, the end of the night could have gone better, but we had a sweet time regardless. It was fun hanging with everyone, and then running into Stonehill peeps as well. Hopefully, things will flourish in certain areas, because she was extremely good company. Plus, I hear John is simply a friend. So, we shall see how things go a little down the road. And as Ski just said, she does have my card...lol.
Today I awoke to a not-so-nice headache. Not a hangover headache, but a dehydrated headache. Quickly remedied that issue. Putted around for a bit, and took the trip to the mall for the sacred iPod!
My dreams were shattered though, when I got to the apple store and dealt my qualifying question:
Me: I know that iTunes has some issues with Windows ME. Would I be able to transfer songs to my iPod through ME?
Apple Store Clerk: That's a problem. You need either Windows XP or 2000. ME has major issues with iPods and such. You'd need to upgrade your operating sytem before hooking up the iPod. Have you considered buying a Mac??
Me: Suck it, douche bag! You runined my fucking day, you Steve Jobs-fantasizing dillhole!
OK, maybe it didn't go quite like that...but thats pretty much how I felt. My iPod dreams were dashed, at least temporarily. However, light shined down on me once again. My cousin is quite the computer whiz, and he has some...uh..."sample" programs of Windows XP, and is hooking me up!! Woot! So, tomorrow, after work, I will travel to the iPod store and buy my very own iPod! Yay for me!
OK, I'm bored with the iPod story. More on today.
After the trip to the mall, I met up with Erich and Jon at the Sports Zone to watch the Pats. Good times. After the game, I dropped Erich off at his place and went to Coyle's to meet up with Jon and his fam for his Dad's b-day dinner. Then, of to Jon's house for the ceremonious cake and present session. Then, back to Coyle's to meet up with Jim and Josh (two of Jon's methuen friends) and watch the Sox game. Stayed for a bit, and they went to BJ's house to watch the game. I am an old fart, so I came back here to sleep.
Work this week...same as usual. Got the concert on Tuesday, which should be a very good time! I guess thats it for now.
