Week 2
My 2nd week at Netspoke is going well. Same news as before, no complaints. We actually hit the phones this week, and I've done rather decent. I've set 7 appts. in 2.5 days, which is very good considering a good number to shoot for in a month is 35. I've also found a concert buddy in this girl Kelly. We discovered we enjoy a lot of the same music. We almost went to see Chauncey tonight at The Dise, but both of us were not up for it. Today was also my first payday! Woo-hooo! I'm no longer broke!!
On a sadder note, my fantasy football team is hurting. Fell to 7th out of 8 teams this past week. I must say though that I did put up decent numbers for having 5 of my starting 9 in a bye week. I recovered well, just not enough to win my match. Oh well...the season is still young.
Not much else. This weekend filled up quick. As of now, I will probably be sleeping a lot tomorrow night. Saturday is bar hopping with Erich and maybe Jon. Sunday is my aunt's b-day type deal.
I guess that's it. Kinda boring, but I serve it to you straight.
Oh, and thanks to those of you who signed up for the iPod deal. However, I learned that its pretty much a lame-o offer, so I opted out. In order to fund my desire for one, I am going to watch all the presidential debates and put a nickel in a jar everytime Bush says something stupid or refers to the war in Iraq as part of the "war on terror" (which it is not). I'm sure by the end of the third debate I'll be able to buy an iPod for each day of the year.
