Nap/Update/Sleep

Its funny how quickly after you land a job that the college lifestyle exits your system, and your weekend activity rivals that of a 47 year old man. More on that in a bit.

The rest of this past week wasn't too bad at all. Training continued on, and more things were learned. I'd say the last few days of training were more "useful" than the first few days. It just seemed like we learned more stuff that will become important as we get out there, IMO. Anyway, yesterday we had a mini-ceremony with the CEO of the company. He came in and spoke to/with us, and then we were given training completion diplomas...even though we still have 2 more days of training next week and have yet to take the final. Eh...technicalities.
After all of that, the fun began. A big office party, basically...everyone was hanging around, drinking some beers, and just unwinding from the week. It was def. a good time, but it has yet to be seen if its a weekly occurence. Something tells me it is, due to the constant supply of beer in the employee fridges. That's something I could get used to. There are a lot of cool people there whom I hope to become better acquainted with in the coming weeks!
I took off from the party around 5:30-6 and headed down to Lindsay's. Up until then, I was fine to hang out all night. However, the beers consumed at the party had quite the negative effect on my ability to stay awake. As soon as I got to Lindsay's, I was ready to sleep. However, we ordered food, watched some of the Sox game, and then went to go see Garden State. I finally saw the movie, and it was really good. However, I kept dozing off in the theater! LOL. When we got back to her place, it was only minutes before I was out like Apollo Creed in Rocky IV, when he died while fighting that Russian dude played by the guy who also starred as He-man in the feature film adaptation of the popular children's cartoon. Pretty much slept straight through the night til 9:30 this morning.

We woke up slow this morning, and chilled for a while. I wasn't feelin too hot, and still felt tired, so I took off around 3. Got home, hung around a bit, and took a nap. Just woke up a few minutes ago, and now I am posting before I go back to bed for the night. See what I mean with the old man comment? My first weekend after my first week of work and I was ready to throw in the towel by 7pm Friday night. That's sad. I hope this shall not be a regular occurence.

Well, I'm gonna head back to bed. Tomorrow is still up in the air...too broke for a mall trip, so I might just...uh...sleep.

Andrew : We're not playing Spin the Bottle; how old are we? More importantly, how old are they?
Jesse : Oh, they're all legal. I think...

Mrs. Lubin : Oh... guys? Don't stay in here all day. I had to take the batteries out of the carbon monoxide detector; it was beeping all night.

Olivia : Sam, I thought I told you to take the metal wheel out of the hamster cage.
Sam : Oh! I forgot!
Olivia : [holding up a stiff, dead hamster] Well, you forgot, and now Jelly's dead.

Karl : I should get your number.
Andrew : Yeah... well... I'll call you. I'll get your number from him, because I think he's got it in his... book...

Andrew : Do you lie a lot?
Sam : What do you consider a lot?
Andrew : Enough for people to call you a liar.
Sam : People call me lots of things...
Andrew : Is one of them liar?

Sam : I haven't even lied in like, the past two days.
Andrew : Is that true?
Sam : No.

Tim : I had a lovely evening. By the way, you have "BALLS" written on your face.
