The problem was a simple one.

An overzealous, confused young woman and an anti-social, arrogant young man must be contained within a designated area for x amount of time in order for the desired outcome of relationship A to be equaled to relationship B given that A is in the negative and B is also in the negative.

The solution- obvious.
