Got from
ambyuler.
1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Had fingers and surgical tubing up my asshole. Never lived in the year 2007 before either.

No. My continual new years res is to learn a second language and I still only speak english and bad english. Though I did get My French Coach for my DS.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
To many shits, no kids or aliens.

No countries for old men.

An iPhone and a
Drobo.

Nothing springing to mind. I thought watch Elizabeth: The Golden Age was an event.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Started on my secret project. I achieved a monumental failure on my last secret project though so I guess they both cancel each other out.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Said last secret project.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
See "had fingers and surgical tubing up my asshole".
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Video iPod. I technically didn't buy my Wii but if I had that would've been it.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Very proud of Amber, just so fucking insanely proud. Kite Fox as well, she gets depressed but in her relationship she's been the happiest I've ever seen her.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent. iMac and iPod.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Wii. Secret Project. Excited for The Dark Knight even though it's not out next year.
16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
Through The Fire And The Flames - DragonForce
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Pretty happy.
ii. thinner or fatter? Fatter, but I'm working on it. Please note that I am not actually fat or I'd be on suicide watch.
iii. richer or poorer? Though I am indeed richer, it's only slightly. I do have a plan to be more richer as more xmas' roll by which is more important.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
I wish I'd done more Ambro, and more writing.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Sitting on my ass.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With my sister and my family out here, they're really quite awesome.
21. Did you fall in love in 2007?
"Why So Serious?"
22. How many one-night stands?
The late night choco runs are becoming more frequent, they relieve stress.
23. What was your favorite TV program?
BSG, Razor in particular owned my fucking ass.
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I've definitely run into more fat people this year, and that makes the hate bile boil.
25. What was the best book you read?
Lost Girls by Alan Moore.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
KT Tunstall and Utada Hikaru are the new ones I thought were swell (though I actually knew a song by the latter and loved it, just never knew who the artist was). I also reaffirmed my love for Soilwork and Rammstein's Mutter album which was the soundtrack to my first year out of primary school.
27. What did you want and get?
My new iMac and Video iPod. A Wii and a DS.
28. What did you want and not get?
Said iPhone and said Drobo. I also want an AppleTV as importing my DVDs into iTunes is almost complete.
29. What was your favorite film of this year?
David Lynch's Inland Empire, I had fun seeing Transformers in a theatre but I never need to see it again. Casshern also came out on DVD and reminded me that I love it more than many other films, but I had seen it years ago. Oh and Paprika was a marvel, best rape scene in any visual medium thus far.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
24th, and don't remember. People at the office were mad we didn't get cake because I didn't remember. I think I was out of the city.

Less procrastinating on my part.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
Jeans that fit right.
33. What kept you sane?
Wii.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Al Gore is still kicking a lot of ass. Stephen Colbert of course. And Cate in Elizabeth is just wonderful.
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
The fact that Valerie Plame's cover being blown by people within George W's inner circle is still in the courts in a game of dismissal and appeal is appalling. This woman worked her ass off to actually protect americans, not by "banning liquids on airplanes" but by actually working to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons and materials to terrorist groups and she gets hung out to dry while the people who essentially committed treason against the united states get off with a slap on the wrist. It's also appalling that most americans don't understand this because if they did, if they truly understood, there would have been a coup.
36. Who did you miss?
Honestly, I'm too busy for stuff that selfish these days.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
Mel. It's always impressive to me when people are so insanely nice even though I'm being a big jerk.
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007.
If you want something done, period, do it yourself.
39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
The fire fades away
Most of everyday
Is full of tired excuses
But it's to hard to say
I wish it were simple
But we give up easily
You're close enough to see that
You're the other side of the world to me
Cut and Scene.
