So I've decided I'll continue the LJ as a weekly thing and actually try and turn my iWeb site into more of an official blog/podcast/info hub, or something. Basically it'll be all Apple and Video/Film so you guys need not subscribe. I'll keep you posted though.

So we're packing up to move and it's going well except for discovering mold in our apartment along the floor boards. It's disgusting and I can't wait to get out of this over-priced hell hole. The only thing I like about it is the quiet, the location, and the landlords and it was enough to last me this long but good fucking riddance I'm outta here.
We went and saw The Lady In The Water and it was magical. Scared the FUCK out of me too. It's rare that Ambers is the one who has to take care of me during a scary film.

Amber's hard drive in her G5 died yesterday so we packed it up and lugged the damn thing (they're heavier than you'd think) all the way to the Apple Store to get the Genius' to look at it. Turns out we were covered by the four remaining days of warrenty and got a $500 repair at no charge AND dude hooked us up with AppleCare at educational pricing even though Amburger isn't even in school yet, so we can rest easy knowing the next 2 years are covered, plus phone support. We were so impressed we took one of our apple stickers and put it on our microwave door. It's cute.
