FNL
I kind of hate FNL this year.
I know they're doing it on purpose, and for a reason, but still. Not happy. Tonight seemed to be a turn for the better, because it had lots of Tim Riggins looking astoundingly hot. However, Tim Riggins taking a turn toward the churchy = me not happy. Yes, Lyla thought that speech was to get into her pants. I, however, don't really think so because he was all serious and there were, like, words. Maybe I'm a bigger sucker than Lyla (not possible!) but Tim talking like that? He's serious.
They did pull it out of the fire, because as I was sitting there wondering why Tim had to discover God rather than, say, get addicted to slash, he and Jason headed happily off to Mexico on what I firmly believe will be a Brokebacktastic adventure. (even if it's only that way off-screen in my head.)
I think they've discovered that when Tami cries, we cry, and they are taking terrible advantage of it, much the way Joss Whedon knew that if you put Willow in danger, people would get all invested because it was Willow. I'm mad at our bratty little Skipper, but it's so real and believable, especially what she said tonight.
I had actually considered not watching anymore, because I mistakenly thought Tim Riggins' hotness was not enough to keep me. They have, at least, proved that much wrong. Because that boy is amazing. [/shallow]
