I spent 10 minutes looking for my keys today. Want to guess where they were? That's right - still in the lock in my door. I am so lucky they were still there.

In other news, I am done with ice and snow for the year. No more please.

How hot was it?It was so hot that ... my deoderant melted, yet later reformed into a weird shape in the cap. I brought my stuff to stay at my mom's for a couple days and I left my toiletries type stuff in the car. I even left my windows cracked open while I was in work. Woah. I ran some errands this morning, including running to school and grabbing all of my books. Then I came home and holed myself up in my room, doing some schoolwork. Our refrigerator was so cold that my carrots were actually frozen together this morning. Of course, today's high is 30 degrees colder than yesterday's high, so they are not alone in being cold. I guess the weather is back to being November-like.

I also heard a rumor that it is supposed to snow for Thanksgiving. That would suck.

While the wind chills are in the teens today, Inside my classroom right now it is at least 80 degrees. Seriously it is like a sauna in here. I'm having trouble keeping my eyes open right now.

Today is one of those days when I wish I had a pool. It seems so perfect out, hot but not too humid. Also, there is something about AC that is unsatisfying. I don't know, it's so sterile or something ( Read more... )

Quickly, did you know that when leather sandals get wet, they stain your feet the color of the leather. Well I know that now. Certain parts of my feet have turned a certain reddish-brown color. Hard to avoid when crossing alleyways becomes like crossing streams.
