(no subject)
University has officially eaten my brain. There is no room for anything else. I have done no housework, read nothing but textbooks, watched no television except as background noise accompanying note writing, and I'm not convinced that The Husband hasn't left me. He said he was going away for work, but I've been such poor (and slightly grumpy) company I wouldn't blame him if he'd run home to mother...
I'm in the middle of two assignments at the moment. One is due in on Monday, the other on Wednesday (though I have seven hours of lectures on Tuesday so I really need to have both finished for Monday. One is using methodologies I don't fully understand, the other is about something that makes no sense (well, the reason for the theory makes sense but the theory itself is confusing and difficult, and has a supposedly helpful graphical representation which only works in 3D except there is no 3D model of it and even then it couldn't actually work the way the theory works because there's this little thing called physics and solid matter not passing through other solid matter and and and...).
It will all be fine, I know. But in the meantime I'm working my bottom off and the best I can probably hope for in the stats assignment is a bare pass, which is just plain annoying.
Gah.
Anyway, if anyone has actually read this far - what is this LJ Find thing I see being complained about on my flist? (It might have all blown over by now - I've read about 80 entries today but I haven't got to November yet.) Is there something I should do, and if so are there comprehensive instructions somewhere?
Right. Next stop Morrisons for something unhealthy for dinner, and a big bag of Maltesers. Because I can.
