looking into her pretty little eye
i'm feeling lazy and uninspired so i'm just gonna talk about work today
my day started off normal enough but after lunch i had a bunch of physical labor to do, which was fine it was just moving boxes of tapes from one building to the other. the only sucky part was that part of it meant being outside and it was really hot so that kinda sucked. but like right after that i had to go on a run to the nbc lot where i got to sit on a shady, breezy, comfy balcony while a guy transferred some files from a hard drive i'd brought him. i got a sold twenty minutes or so to myself just chillin with no responsibilities and nothing needed from me and it was like...amazing.
then on my way out i was talking to the security guard, just really casual and friendly and then like in the middle of our conversation he just stopped and was like "wow...your eyes are really pretty. you probably get that all the time, huh?" and i was like "yeah, i do actually" (cuz i do) and he was like "yeah man i just got lost in them for a sec" and then we like talked for another moment and then i left. usually unsolicited compliments from men make me really uncomfortable (well, all compliments, solicited or not, make me uncomfortable), but he wasn't like being a skeeze about it or having an agenda. so i didn't mind. or at least, only minded as much as i mind compliments from anyone.
so yeah that was my day a cute security guard got lost in my eyes. how are you guys?
