migraine headache today; totally useless

Despite the aforementioned head condition (and lack of feeling in extremities, and blurry vision) I dragged myself over to my stepsister, Colleen's, to put blankets on the two lame horses she rescued for me this year. She called me later when my head was about to explode and I was quite sunken into the couch, to inform me that the horses "hated them" and were "freaking out." Hmmm. Apparently the pony was chasing the cows, and C's husband was threatening to shoot it (ironically enough, since last summer they were rescued from such fates), and they just *had* to get the blankets off them.

Because yes, horses who are uncomfortable in blankets often resort to chasing cows. No, that didn't make any more sense when I was drugged-up and couchbound, and in any case, my response was, "do whatever you need to do. I really can't help you right now; I shouldn't be driving."

So I'm worried that they're cold and I have to remind myself that they're not really my problem anymore, I've done everything I can. And I have no idea how to make horses and cows play nice.

In other news, I loooooove my dog, and I'll spare you the extreme drivel since most of you hear it daily anyhow. Suffice it to say that he reminds everyone around him to be happy every single day, and we love him for it.
