People high five-ing in escalators in metro stations.
So, so many jerseys in the street, I don't think I've ever seen this many of them in a football stadium (granted, I can't very well remember what France was like in 1998). No, seriously, 7 out of 10 people were wearing one.
Improvized hockey match completely blocking 2 streets.
Two musicians playing "O Canada", one playing the violin and the other the guitar.
The most random free hugs, and I saw at least one disguised beaver and a polar bear.

That's when I really don't regret choosing Vancouver to exile myself ♥
Also, you can't imagine how popular this guy was. I doubt he had to pay for a single beer that night.
