"(and how awesome would it be if he could beat Smelly to 2nd in championship as well... probably won't happen but dreaming is funnn)"
Well, it's sort of a prediction. I was kinda hoping for it but wouldn't mind if it didn't happen cause it was a long shot. But Hair didn't fail me and crashed cause he just does :D I was actually bursting for the toilet half way through the race but couldn't go in case I missed something important championship wise. But then he fell and I found that the perfect excuse ;P Well done to Hiro winning it though despite his off in the middle of the race! That was the 2nd biggest WTF moment of the weekend, right after Casey. Just WTF dude.
I want to kill Spies cause he made Dovi lose 5th (well Dovi lost it himself with his stupid crashing and what-not but it feels better blaming someone else.. And I don't particularly like Spies so he's the perfect candidate for getting the blame!) But Dani was awesome taking the win! And he gets to keep his #3 now -giggles- Was sad that Casey missed out on the 3rd but at least he missed out on it to someone awesome.
125s was an awesome race, nice battle between Brad and Julito. Glad Nico managed to stay 3rd, and that Sandro stole 6th from Iannothing! Next year the 125s should be more interesting with Simon going away (all due respect, but he made it boring! :P) Can see Brad, Nico and Pol going for the title, but who knows, there might be a couple of surprises there too ;)
250s race was the best of the lot though. Shame that they're going :( I'll miss them loaaddss.
Hector looked so happy to get 2nd as well (well, obviously! But still :P) - and the crowd as well at that! ;P It's kinda funny cause I never really expected 2nd in the championship, especially after the slump between Donny and Indy (saying that Brno wasn't his fault but whatever) The past 5 races have been really good for him and good for moving up to the next class. He'll be hilarious to watch on the Duke as well :D He has calmed down a lot, and if I'm right the only race he did crash in was Le Mans.. Or was it Mugello.. -thinks- Yeah it was Le Mans, the one were Smelly won.. Of course, Mugello was the one with the incident ¬____¬
Also happy to see Bati finish the season on a high especially considering the 3 proceeding races! I also almost got my podium of awesome but De Rosa spoiled it and finished JUST ahead of Tom.. Oh well.. I guess I'll never see it unless some random circumstance sees them doing so.. Nahh, can't see it :P
Also, Matt Roberts has decided that the UK should adopt Toni. I agree. I also think that the rest of the BBC team are annoying, stupid and crap. Like during the motogp race I actually wanted to shoot Paris and Cox. And I usually don't mind them and they are 231293480 x better than Nick Harris but it didn't stop me wanting to shoot them today.
Anyways, season sum up:
Best motogp race: Donington
Best 250 race: Misano
Best 125 race: Assen before the stewards killed it
Most awesome filled podium: 250 Misano (would've been motogp Malaysia had a certain someone kept it upright, ahem)
Person who deserves the biggest kick up the back side: Mr 4th place (ps. when I said I didn't want you to finish 4th, I actually meant try and finish higher up, not further back!) Honorable (well, sort of) mention to Tom.
Most disappointing weekend: Assen, either everyone I liked crashed or got screwed by the stewards. Only happiness was Barbera's podium. And Casey's too but I was more concerned with how ill he (still) looked.
Even which got the biggest cheer from me: Rossi going down in Donny (I know it sounds bad, but it was more like WTF ROSSI DOWN OMG DOVI COULD WIN THISSSSSSS)
Biggest surprise: Probably Hiro. Ohh or Cluzel.
Most impressive rookies:
Motogp: Well, Kallio didn't really have any challenge, did he.. He was impressive though, especially the couple of 8ths in his first 2 GPs.. More so in Motegi with quali been taken away.
250s: De Rosa, simply cause I didn't really think he had it in him, I knew that Di Meglio would get some results.
125s: Kinda bending the rules, but Schrotter :P Folger did have a few impressive runs as well, especially Jerez before the crash.. But Schrotter just came along on his wee Honda and stuck it on the front row in Germany, then another great quali yesterday as well, and this time converted it into a better race result.
Anyways, I'm off to go be sad that it's all over till April.. ):
