I'm home!
But I wanna go back to Loch Eil! I had so much fun and I wanted to stay LOL. I made awesome friends too.
I could probably go on forever about everything that I did cause I did soooo much. But I'll water it down so as not to bore everyone LOL.
When we got there on Monday (after being held up in a traffic jam for an hour) we got put in our groups. And I say my group was the best :P And we had the best instructor too. And he was Irish, haha!
Anyways, we all had to climb over a wall first, which was amusing. I managed to get kicked in the head twice. But luckily I didn't get a black eye like someone in my group! He got kicked in the eye accidentally. But it was fun :D Despite the pain. Then after we did a big jump thing from about 20 ft up. We had a harness to slow us down though and it was good. And at night time we had to jump into the Loch. Which was freezing. And it was dark. But it was still good :D
Then on Tuesday morning we went Gorge Walking. Then after we had to climb up "Boy George" which was a tree. It was like 120 ft tall or something, it took us 3 hours! And I was one of the last people so I had to wait ageesss. And as I was going up the first people were starting to come down so we had to get past each other without tangling the wire which was interestingg.. It was difficult too! Then after dinner we went on this zip wire. Which was like a big flying fox (one that you get in play parks) going down the river. It was good.
Then on Wednesday morning we did the trapeze. We got harnessed up and had to climb up a big pole and jump and catch the trapeze. It was fun cause once you let go you were dangling in the air as well LOL. After we had to pack cause we were going camping for the night. And the bags were huge and heavy. And there was one boy in our group who was so little and I felt bad for him cause he had to carry it up a steep hill and it was heavy! We were camping at Ben Nevis, and the view was amazing! I'll need to get pictures from people and post them cause we got some really nice photos (I was silly and left my camera in my suitcase back at the accommodation!) Before we got to our camping place we did a bit of rock climbing. And it was difficult, there was a bit I kept slipping too ): But it was still good.
On Thursday morning before we left our campsite we went abseiling which was really good as well. Then we had to pack again and climb down the steep hill, which was more difficult than getting up it! But once we got back we built a Tyrolean which was just our own mini flying fox thing across a river. It was good going across cause we built it ourselves and it made it more awesome :P After dinner we didn't do much. We talked to people from an English school and we were winding them up :P I talked to this girl who was nice from there though.
Then yesterday before we came home we built our own raft. It was fun, and I got soaking wet! Once we'd paddled it I jumped off before we got to the jetty so I got wet up to my waist rather than up to my knees like everyone else!
But it was a really good week and I'd well go back cause it was awesome B-)
