Summary:
Puck is a cop who is assigned to investigate some vandalism at boutique owner's Kurt Hummel's store. Kurt is horrified to see him appear some years after their anonymous hook up in a club resulted in the birth of his young son and does everything he can to avoid the studly detective. Puck has no memory of him and is baffled by Kurt's nervous reaction to him but is interested enough to try and get to the bottom of whatever Kurt is trying to hide.

I hesitate for the longest time about which fic I could rec for our Harlequin theme week when I suddenly remember this story I read a long time ago on lj. I was quite happy to find it had been posted on AO3 recently.
You find here some of the best Harlequin clichés with a slight twist as it's a slash pairing with a male pregnancy. I love Puck as a cop with amnesia, Kurt as a competent shop owner and protective father.
Both Puck and Kurt are in characters while being quite true to the particularities of this AU. The rest of the cast is also well represented.
All in all, this fic is well-written, the dialogs are really well-done and it's a great Harlequin's adaptation.
