Review: Post-Season 8 tour, Adam, Kris and Allison are invited to a record industry party, a party where they discover that certain important figures in the industry are soul-sucking demons. Fortunately, one of them is an undercover member of a demon-fighting secret society!
What follows is a truly creepy and terrifying sequence with demon fighting, dealing with the aftermath, some intensely strange world-building, voluntary kidnapping, romance, some surprises and one great fic.
I do have some reservations about how a situation with infidelity is just brushed away, but it does make logical sense within the confines of the story. Also the soul-sucking is very disturbing and the choice of people as villains is effective and creepy.
Definitely only read this if your looking for an effective urban fantasy with strong horror elements.
