Author's Summary: Talon the griffin is broken-hearted - so, can you really blame him for not-quite-accidentally trying to kill a guy? Flit the sparrow sure can. Now the sparrow has taken over Talon's life, and Talon hates it. But maybe things will turn out all right. If only Flit would stop decorating the place.

Review:
A sparrow tries to save a griffin free-falling from the sky and almost gets turned into a meal because of it. Talon is a griffin with anger-management issues and Flit is a sparrow (who probably should have been born a flamingo) can't stop analyzing birds. When Flit forces Talon to take care of him while his injuries heal, wackiness, home re-decoration, soul-searching, and romance ensues.

The creative master Aggy paints a perfect picture of modern-day fairytale in Sparrow Through the Heart filled with wonderful (but crazy) characters, cracky dialogue, and hilarious situations. I love most of her work and have rec'ed one of her other stories here. Her stories are colourful and imaginative with just the right proportion of angsty drama and romance mixed in. And they always make me smile. Although I did have one question after reading this particular one: since all the couples are male birds, who's going to do the egg laying?

The verdict: delightfully charming!

Like a Sparrow Through the Heart
(While this story is written in a cartoonish style with larger-than-life characters and plenty of silliness, there is also copious amounts of violence; please keep the warnings in mind.)
