(no subject)
So! College has officially started (my first day was Tuesday, but classes technically started yesterday). So far it's gone better than expected. I'm taking Applied Media & Communication Arts (AMCA), which is like a mixture of graphic design, photography, sound, video, drawing, stuff like that. It's not job preparatory, but it's gonna be pretty cool, I think.
Our classes don't actually start until next week. The three days of classes this week we've been doing a group project, which is due tomorrow at noon. In the afternoon we have presentations. We needed a video, poster, logo, sound clip (like a jingle-type thing) and a Keynote/Powerpoint presentation. I think it's been going pretty well so far. My group is pretty cool.
Some days I have to take transit to and from school. Dad went with me Tuesday so I could get the hang of it. It's not as bad as I thought it would be.
Speaking of transit, I got Twitter last night (I know that seems unrelated. Give me a second). I didn't want to get it without a reason, so I've decided to Tweet about my transit adventures (see?). There's no shortage of characters on public transit.
Also, the Bachman & Turner/Blue Oyster Cult concert is Tuesday, so that's exciting. I also need to pick up my art supplies for school, but I think we'll get them when we're in town for the concert.
So there, that's basically what's going on right now. :)
