Life and Death.
I firmly believe that celebrating ANY death is a terribly insensitive thing to do. I don't care if Osama, Hitler, mosquitos, dogs, or Justin Bieber, it's LIFE and it's being ENDED. And there are others who still live and hurt from it.
It's all over Facebook- "yay osama is dead lol" and "i hope u get raped in hell osama" and I don't care what he did, he was attempting to make the world a better place, in his eyes, and still deserves respect.
Perhaps it's a lack of perspective. Losing people close to you or knowing what it is to come close to death makes you see the world with a different eye. Life in all its forms is a wondrous thing- from snails to elephants to humans, it's amazing how these things exist.
In any case, I doubt this "war on terror" just got any better. This is probably gonna provoke some sort of backlash, and when things were so quiet too.
