Disastrous
I can hardly believe what has happened to Japan. I've been glued to the news for a good part of the past 7 or so hours. The whole thing makes me unreasonably distraught.
I want everything to be okay over there.
People keep making jokes, it's ridiculous. They say shit involving "lol earthquake" and "the whales are getting back at them" but for shit's sake, at the time they are saying it, people are dying and northern Japan is being totally destroyed. Funny? I don't think so. There are times when joking about death is alright, even therapeutic, but not like this.
I hope the Pacific islands get by as well. Entire islands could be flooded, think of the people and the wildlife and the culture that could be destroyed...
Nothing else matters to me right now.
