Oooooooh. Oh, Dean. It's a bit disturbing, the comforting calm he found in that pain, but I love the way you wrote it.

Thank you! I'm glad it worked for you, that's just the image I wanted to portray - disturbing and comforting. Poor Dean!

I've really been hoping for Dean to seek out a professional -- so thanks for that! Chief fit the bill!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who freakin' loved Chief for the thirty seconds he was on screen. :D

I can't believe there wasn't a million Chief fics the day after the episode! Obviously I had to correct that.

Glad you liked it;)

You wrote the serious Dean and Chief fic! Yay!

Oh and poor Dean. He tries to distract himself from Hell. Disconnect. It doesn't work so well. So this is something that helps. I can see how this WOULD help. It's letting someone else take the burden for a little while. It's endorphines and release and sensations instead of thinking and remembering and being stuck in your head.

I love Chief with his towel and his pamplets on aftercare. That's a good guy.

Hee! Yes, I just had to write this. Especially with how much thinky time I've spent with bdsm lately (re Sex Corps).

I'm glad it worked for you, that's just what I was trying to get at, Dean needed something to get him out of his head. And I am so in love with Chief:)

Thank you for the comment!

You know, we keep forgetting about that 40 year thing. For 30 years, Dean was in pain and for 10 years he was giving pain. Period. Then, suddenly, he's back in the world and things have changed. Sammy's not going back to the way he was before, even if after thatlong Dean can actually remember how Sammy really was to begin with. Dean's desperate for some familiarity and pain is awefully, sadly familiar.

You really got into that mindset and did a fantastic job. I especially love your take on Chief. Not an evil, mean pervert. Just a guy with something to offer certain people who need it in as safe a way as possible, given the circumstances.

good job.

Exactly! Dean's spoken the language of pain for so long, it's like he can't communicate any other way, especially with Sam.

And I'm fond of Chief. He stepped out of "leather" character to ask for a safe word, and that tells me he's a guy who knows how to play:)

Thank you, I'm glad the fic worked for you!
