Noah and I can now tell when Naia is "going". She's even gotten to the point of coming to us and saying "poopie" once she is done and walk to the changing table so we will change her. She also sits on her little potty chair when I am on the bowl and asks for a round of applause when she does. By the "readiness checklists factor", she is ready for potty-training. But the daycare does not support it at this time because accidents are bound to happen and because they have a teacher-to-student ratio they have to keep, they cannot take her to the bathroom on command (i.e., if there are 2 teachers and 6 toddlers, the ratio is 1:3 which is fine. But if one teacher leaves with one toddler, the ratio becomes 1:5 which is not fine). So I guess unless we arrange for in-home care (unlikely), we actually may have to wait . . . . which we do not really mind but it seems like she is ready . . . .
Arrggh!
