Driving, Shopping, Family, Christmas Cake
I've been having a few driving lessons, but today they go intensive. I don't want to be hanging around doing one driving lesson per week.
so as of this morning, with the exception of Sunday, I'm going to be doing them daily with the intention of taking my driving test in about 15 to 20 lessons. Mid January, fingers crossed.
Today, I stalled once at a traffic lights and some bitch started hooting at me. I got to go up into fourth gear, woohoo.
Need to work on changing down gears when I'm emerging from or turning into roads and approaching traffic lights and roundabouts.
Need to work on parallel parking, bay parking, reversing around corner.
Need to hold the steering wheel firmly when I'm changing gears.
And a whole host of other things.

Went shopping. Woolworths has gone bust and some of their stores were closing today, whilst others close next week.
They've always sold stuff well, but apparently they rent their shop space - all 800 of them. And when recession hit, the landlords wanted rent for all 800 for 3 months in advance or something.
I've been waiting for this day as they've only had discounts of about 30%.
Well today when I was in St George's shopping centre in Harrow they had notice of last day, 70% discount on all prices.
So off I went. I was picking up CD's left, right and centre. Some of the CD's I bought I know the name and have liked one or 2 songs, but with 70% off I could afford to buy CD to see how many of their songs I liked.
Also found some CD's I was going to get mum, but Woolworths either wasn't selling them or they weren't on discount. Then suddenly today, there they were so I got mum some additional late Christmas pressies.
As I was standing in the queue to pay, an announcement came over tannoy "everything is now 80% off". How lucky is that?
I feel sad Woolworths has closed, maybe if they had bought their stores instead of renting them.... And obviously a whole bunch of workers are going to be out of work and unemployment can be hard.
But I got 80% OFF....

Get this, my mum was so worried how to word my oldest sisters' christmas card as she has someone living with her that we don't like. Well as much as I don't like him, I also feel sorry for him, but... long story....
She forgot to get me a Christmas card.
I do feel somewhat annoyed. Not at mum, but at my sister. I want to disown her. I can't say why, but I feel betrayed by her. I know people won't understand because they think you should forgive your family. Well, no, there are some things that are just unforgiveable.
Something happened in June, and I've felt sick ever since. It's made me ill. And I need to find a way to get closure. And so far, I haven't been able to find closure.

OK, so on a lighter note. There's still some Christmas cake left. All you have to do is get on a plane and come on over.
