It's not that I don't like flying, it's that I don't like having to sit on my ass in an extremely confined space for ages. I have a coupla books, and my laptop...and my iPod...but...batteries and books don't last forever, and have never lasted as long as a flight across the country. Like...ever ( Read more... )

mace5000 took me flying today in his plane, a Cessna 180. We took off from Kenmore--this is a seaplane, here--and flew northwest over the Sound toward the San Juan islands. Somewhere over the water...he turned the controls over to me and I flew the plane for a while.
