Non-Bipeds
Been working on a bunch of alien creatures for this animation I'm doing...problem is, I'd like to put some non-bipeds in there, and I'm having a difficult time finding photo-reference.
Oh, I could just make something up, but it's so much easier if you've got something to look at; even if the end product comes out only barely looking like the original source material, the end result is almost always better with some reference art to look at.
Problem is, if you do a Google search for 'alien', you most get the Xenomorph from Aliens, even if you add a bunch of search criteria commands like '-xenomorph', '-facehugger', '-Ripley', and '-James Cameron'. Hmph.
The rest are all the anal-probin', cattle mutlatin', redneck frightenin' type of big-eyed, "Communion" aliens...
About the best I was able to come up with was this:
