the truth is, we never change as human beings,
we are simply the same we were as a child, we just never notice
blinded by whatever standard set upon us by society, it held our gaze
just long enough to tell us who we were, but in the end
we are who we were, we only evolved into more intricate creatures of that sort
as a child you see things like you never will see them again, they fade
into the obscurity that is adulthood, and never come back, but the important
part of that is, the thoughts, actions, and family that shaped those thoughts
because the very thoughts they shaped, also shaped the very essence of you
there are only in reality maybe 4 years of growing and changing, becoming who you
are this life time, and even then, its more just picking up new things and relearning
old habits, but after that, your stuck with who you are.
love it or hate it, try to hide it, it will resurface in time and become the part of you
that you knew was there all along, its sad because a life can change so drastically.
you may very well go from one extreme to the other in the blink of an eye. because
who you thought you were all along will only be overshadowed by who you were as a child
if only we could find a way to harness that and get back the imagination that
everyone loses in the process.
that i think is my objective, i found who i was, and who i shall be
for the remainder, and have in most respects come to grips with it
however, my objective is to find the nature of the child that i lost
the imagination the little things that made me, what i am.
