I'm interning at Variety (refer to my past LJ posts). I'm hoping to rent this apartment I've been looking at, though I haven't finalized anything yet.

I have to admit, I have heard of variety I think, but I've never read it or even picked it up to flip through... I'm not really super into entertainment news though.

I understand not reading it. But it's along the lines of Forbes (although Variety is a little more of a specified publication, and not as accessible grammatically). A lot of people probably haven't read it, but they should damn well know what it is.
