ok went to see the doctor today bc my voice hasn't come back and now i apparently have an inflammation in my vocal cords.. solution: don't speak. DON'T SPEAK?!! how in the hell am i going to that!?! i'm a social addict, i have to be able to talk to my friends!! so i try not to speak as much as i usually do, but i still think that our good doctor

so...what EXACTLY should i order as my first drink in Scotland? i want to sound really non-american the first time i got out there--as if that's even remotely possible--and order something like the natives. i still can't believe i'm about to be legal for 3 months. amazing. fake ids can just stress you out more than be useful over here. i can't wait. i just really hope everything works out ok with my classes--well i'll be dealing with all that tomorrow hopefully.

you are legal in engalnd already :D do ya like dry or sweet drinks? 'cos if you order english dry cider it can be quite bitter... so you can ask for a brand that hasn't got that strong of a taste, they have so many so by trying out you'll find your favorite. i like dry ciders but i think they're maybe too strong tasting for you...

i'm sure the bartenders will love to help such a sweet gal as you, you just discribe your taste and they give you something to try ;) haha

mmmm i love STRONG. i'm serious. for me it's either really sweet and non-alcohol-tasting whatsoever or really really strong. so just say "cider, please."?

you have very good taste :D i'm sure you'll have plenty of tasty ciders in scotland. ask for more... strongbow and crowmoor are very good brands, typicals, so try that if you don't know it yet. and then ask for some specialities, i'm sure they have those ;)
