There are many on my word who simply believe that the sun is a ball of fire that travels across the sky in order to bring light and warmth to the planet.

There is a god who drives a golden chariot across the sky, and this is what is known as the sun. That is my truth.

He is not one of the gods I have associated myself with.

That's too bad! I was kinda hopin' you could tell me more about him.

I take it there are deities on your world as well?

Yeah, there's a whole bunch of 'em runnin' around. I'm actually our sun goddess's Celestial Envoy. What about your home?

Is that another way of saying you are her priest?

That's kinda right. I can't do any priest stuff like dispel evil or ward of ghosts, but it is my job to tell stories and encourage people to pray to the gods.

I see. There are many from the world I come from who would do the same.

Lucky! It'd be nice if my world had a buncha people to help spread the word around and take some pressure offa me.

Perhaps when you return you should seek out some followers to speak your word for you.
