[He looks like he's been thinking about something confusing and maybe a little bit disheartening, but he's got his usual game face (all grins and energy and >:D) by the time the feed clicks on.]
I've got a question for... whoever feels like answerin', I guess! What did the sun mean to you, back on your world?

Why do you ask, little one?

If you can believe it, it kinda has to do with my job.

Problem is, she's here now, too, so I can't really treat this world-hoppin' adventure as a vacation. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind at all since bein' her envoy is basically the greatest job ever, but... I dunno how to go about it here. I mean, would you worship a sun that isn't yours?
[Issun: opening up to celestial ponies everywhere. He's not even sure why he's telling her all this, himself. :|a]

It does sound like you have an important job.
But that is a good question. With the people here from different worlds, backgrounds, and faiths, it would seem rude to try to persuade them. However, there's a difference between just believing and actually worshipping something.
Must your goddess have actual worshipers, or does the faith and belief that she is indeed the goddess of at least a sun enough?
[kindred spirit? also, why has Celestia not met Amaterasu yet.]

[This is a crime and should be remedied post haste!]

I'm sure your efforts will be rewarded, little one. Your goddess will also appreciate your hard work as well.

And Ammy would appreciate just about anything 'cause that's how she is, what with bein' a benevolent sun goddess and all. [headscratch] I don't need her gratitude.

That's not quite what I mean by reward.
[but she's smiling.] You are truly one of her most faithful followers.
