Hey all, and especially Heath and Tessa!
Four books. hard, but then again not really. If I had to pick four books that I had to read over and over again I think I would pick:
- The bible, as in the old T and the new T because if I read this over and over again I think so knowledge and wisdom would spew from the pages and the parallelism would allow me to breath. I think this is a good choice.
2) HP 1-7, this invariably does count as ONE book, seeing as it is one story and if you removed the book covers and just read chapter by chapter, they each have a specific title and therefore it count as one long book, did I confuse you into agreeing with me?
c) Anything Anne Bishop, I'd put my hand in a black bag and pull one of her novels out and be contented, they are all perfect. Mind you those too are parts of trilogies and so it would be hard to not read what came before and what came after, but I think this is most democratic way of looking at her books.
- and Lastly, I'd have to say my book. Working title "Thicker than Blood"- and not about vampires. I've been trying and trying these last few days to get somewhere with it, but with the online course and computer parts messing up I'm so full of good excuses, that I can't seem to get there. Also been reading Kelly Armstrong... very good books. As I've gloated about recently.
So I got in touch with the little MAC store in Charlottetown, got a "check-up" for the lap and then bought a new plug, bought some channukah presents for my nephews and my sister's bday gift. Heath's bday gift as I've stipulated about in weird texts that don't seem to go through, and I got myself a Cows Wills and Kate marriage mug. Wish it was a magnet too, but I don't have a cows mug, so I was glad to buy myself something.
We are having a nice fish fry tonight. Excited. and well, better than BP g-free pizza... yes? please agree with me.
We did lots of running around yesterday and So I think we are staying close to the Nimmo homestead today and tomorrow. Leaving Sat for NEW Hampshire, and driving about 12 hours to get there. Hopefully be ok, we have to get car food still... no fruit of veg, they might confiscate it at the border... Sound like fun?
How have other people's Septembers been? top 4 books.. comments... and maybe some inspiration to WRITE. Grr. need to finish this thing. and once it's done. Then there is the nightmare of what to do with it.
