Being proactive is hard.

Everything is a wave, literally. Everything exists in a state of pure probability, literally. Only an observer can collapse the wavefunction of an object and make it declare its particle like nature. Without a conscious observer the Universe exists in a simplistically unstated fashion. Go go Quantum Mechanics.
