21 inches this weekend. SNOW. Its really funny to see
just how many people own a range rover in southampton.
kyle and i went into the village on saturday before the
snow hit (we went to tates!! pecan pie!) and it was like
how in orlando everyone seems to have a honda. . .everyone
was in their rovers bracing for the snow. kyle wanted to
see some end tables in bridge so we stopped, and were
parked rover to rover 7 deep. :) i thought it was comical.
Maybe I'm acclimated. Who knows. But I really don't think
its that cold. Not that I'm outside or anything. I mean I do
have 3 layers of clothes on, lol. Onyx and Monti are navigating
the back porch well, and for some reason think that they are
on the ground... so my porch is covered in frozen shit, and
yellow pee. YUCK. Kyle says that we can shovel it off, and it
wont be nasty cause everything is frozen.
kyle and i have sat down, and have basically finalized our
guest list for the wedding. sam called the office today, and
he said they are setting their date for the 5th of september.
i think they will honeymoon by the time of our wedding. not
nice. anyway- back to the guest list. i think we're at about
110 invites. that doesnt include like so-and-so plus one.
so we're inviting like 200, and i assume maybe half will
show. it is in a sense a destination wedding. everyone
is coming from out of town... we need to finish the down
stairs and the bonus room above the garage. kyle had an
idea of just renting out a complete hotel on the north fork
and sticking everyone there.. lol. I think it would be better
to keep everyone in the hamptons, so at least they have
something to do. theres only like vineyards on the north
fork.. and they're doing that on the wedding. theres a
really great inn in the middle of SH that i think would be
cute for a rehearsal dinner on sat.. then they can walk the
town during the day sunday, and then take a 20 min drive
up to the wedding. sounds good right?
