(no subject)
So, I'm coding my kernel module, and I kick off a build of the kernel, thinking I've only changed a couple things. I suddenly remember that I've changed the goddamn target arch of the tree - meaning everything gets rebuilt. On my dual xeon 400. So, I thought I'd come blog while it rebuilds. I don't think this blog will last the AGE that it'll take to rebuild tho. Wish I had the cluster set up.
Femi asked me today - what songs would I want played at my wedding, and what would I want played at my funeral? I did a lot of hmmm'ing at this.
For weddings, I think I'm going to go with Led Zeppelin's 'All Of My Love', or Smashing Pumpkins 'Tonight', or Led Zep's 'The Battle Of Evermore'.
For my funeral? Depends how cruel I'm feeling. I could go with Stairway To Heaven, but I think everyone would get bored with mourning before the song ended. Perhaps Orbital's Satan. (can you tell I didn't really take this one seriously?) Seriously, though, I dunno. Bon Jovi's 'I'll sleep when I'm dead'? 'Never say goodbye' by the same? Pain of Salvation's 'Imago'? 'Enter Rain'? 'Ending Theme'? Marduks 'Sodomize the Dead'?
Or perhaps Tool's Parabol, followed by Parabola. That'll make the bastards cry.
