Conan needed a take a break from all the reading. Going outside was the best thing to do. As he walked around, he caught sight of a familiar looking blonde, although it was some time he had actually talked to the nation.

"Hello, Poland-san."

Poland, already a little people-d out by this point, gave Conan a slightly weary smile. "Hey. Conan, right?"

Oh Poland, so popular.

Conan nodded, walking up to him with a small wave. "You look tired."

To be honest, what he looks like is a wreck. A not sleeping or eating nearly enough for months, barely together enough to get himself dressed and out of his room for a change wreck, with dark circles under his eyes and even slightly messy hair.

"Yeah, sure. Let's totally go with that."

You obviously need your beauty sleep.

"What happened?" Conan wasn't exactly the counselor type, but he couldn't just leave Poland in a wreck like that without hinting some sort of worry.

Poland grimaces a little. "God. That obvious?"

Conan nodded. "Yeah."

Well, damn it. Poland sighed, fussing with his hair a little. "...My husband went home. That's all."

Pause pause pause. Okay. Husband. Sure. It was normal in the Western countries anyway. Yeah.

"That's.....really too bad..."

How awkward Conan sounds at this.

"I'm totally fine," Poland insists, trying to cover up his weak spot. "It's like, not like I need the guy around or anything!"

"I'm sure you won't die from it literally, but that doesn't mean you won't be lonely. It's fine to be sad and lonely when someone you're close to leaves, even if it's temporarily," Conan says, slightly averting his eyes while saying this. He isn't good with the comforting thing as Ran.

"Well..." Poland frowned. He guessed that wasn't wrong or anything, but he felt like he'd been sad and lonely about this forever!

"I'm like, tired of that," he declared, with an almost childish decisiveness. "It's like, ugh, been there, right? I'm just not gonna do it anymore!"

He shrugged his shoulders. "Sure, it's sometimes necessary to forcibly change the mood," he said, looking back at Poland.

"...What? You like, don't think this is one of them?" He frowned. Nobody liked a downer! That was probably why his mirror didn't have any friends he didn't put out for.
