Who: Poland and ???
Where: Out on the mansion grounds

Rating: Probably PG at most
Summary: Poland's having a bit of trouble dealing with Liet's departure, but at least the revolution has pushed him into accepting it enough to leave the room now and then. Progress?
The Story: (
...Lonesome would mean nothing to me at all. )
Elaine's waiting next to his door when he comes through it. And she doesn't try to hide the fact that she'd been waiting since early morning. She greets him with a smile and quickly follows through with a hug to surprise him, forgetting for the moment to remove her iPod's earphones.

"Like, what's up, Elaine?" He wonders if there's some reason she's at his door.

She backs off a bit, just a bit, and smiles. "You owe me vodka, remember?" What she said makes sense to her just a bit too slowly, and when it does she laughs. "It's too early in the morning, I guess."
Reply
"It is kinda early for that, babe," he teased. "Unless you like, wanna spend all day sleeping in the kitchen floor~"

Although the way he looks does catch her notice, she makes no comment or any other reaction to it. She knew they'd have to sit down and talk serious eventually- but until then, she was just content to be glad he was out and about.
Laughs. "But seriously, were you planning on doing anything? Maybe we could ride the horses."

"Maybe Wonderland's celebrating." She wants to fly. "It hardly feels like anything's changed, to be honest."
Reply
"I wish Wonderland was a nation. Then I could like, negotiate." It was a fun thought--and the idea of being able to talk his way back to where Liet was was perhaps too nice.

It's hard not to stare at his posture and his golden blonde hair, the way he's dressed, the way he says that line (so different from his normal, cheerful self), and she thinks- this isn't right. She doesn't know what it's like to be the last of anything because she's never thought of herself that way. And there's a quiet resignation in her, because she wants to reach out to touch his shoulder, but stays back respectfully instead, watching. Not quite sure what to say, and substituting a lack of words with a willingness to listen.

Maybe... most of them. And maybe he missed them a lot--America, Hungary (as little as he'd seen her here), Japan, even Pakistan, even Germany now and then. Never Prussia or Russia, and always Liet, of course always Liet. But he just... wasn't sure he could say it so easily.

He shuffled his feet. "...Good riddance..." God, who was he even trying to kid?
