Still, she knew she had to take a break, after all, she'd told Minato that she would meet him in the courtyard to hang out. Weekends were supposed to be for things such as that after all. She headed out, hoping that she wouldn't be late for the meeting. When she finally got to the courtyard she smiled.
"Hello."

Minato had only recently arrived, and didn't wait very long at all. Since he had been the one to set up the meeting, he had made a point to be there a bit early since Mitsuru was always punctual. He gave her a small smile, glad to see that she was relatively fine despite the way her and all their Personae had been acting and behaving.
With that, he took out the present he had, and gave it to her. Inside the wrapped box were two items, an origami cell phone charm and a small omamori for protection. It wasn't much, but he wanted to get her something, though for some unknown reason, he was unable to recall what he had given her last year. Then again, some of his memories of Namimori even from a few months ago were a bit faded, distant, or fuzzy. In any case, Minato didn't think much of it as where he was now in the present was more important.
"Happy birthday, Senpai."

"Thank you, Arisato. You didn't have to get me anything though. To be honest...I forgot myself." She smiled awkwardly as she looked down at the box, it amazed her that he'd actually remembered and gotten her anything at all. Having friends was still something she wasn't exactly used to, even after all this time.
"Should I open it...?"

His own birthday was also something he didn't think much of since to him it was like any other day. But someone else's birthday, especially that of a close friend, was one he had to remember. It wasn't that each day or every chance he spent time with his friends wasn't valued, but it was nice once in a while to remind them how much he did care about them.
"If you'd like."
Minato smiled a little more, and didn't mind if she opened it or not; it was hers now to do what she wished.
