Summary: It's Mitsuru's birthday. Minato and Mitsuru are going to hang out! It's just that some of Mitsuru's Persona skills (ice), are sort of... well... beyond either of their control. Oops.
The Story:
As with any normal Sunday and with several assignments due the following school day, Minato spent the morning studying and researching at the library. He had to finish as much work as possible because all the time in afternoon had to be free. Today was in particular was special: May 8th was Mitsuru's birthday. Whether Mitsuru remembered the significance of the day herself was something he would find out. The two of them had agreed to meet just to hang out since weekends were usually the only free time either of them had to relax, and her birthday just happened to be a happy coincidence. They did deserve a break, especially after their breaking and entering operation the other night.
After returning to his room to leave his school bag and homework there and placing a very small wrapped box in his pocket to take along with him, Minato headed out to where he had promised to meet Mitsuru: the school courtyard.
