Summary: After being tossed into the pool by Beast Boy, a certain someone was kind enough to fish the poor AI out. Unfortunately, it's not someone he wants to see right now.
The Log:
Kite had never died before. Sure, he'd come close a few times--he'd been shut down, blown up, completely disabled for extended periods, but never really dead. The AI always had someone to back him up, to save his important files from destruction, or he had his own emergency procedures to keep himself from being irreversibly damaged.
It was an empty feeling, he decided. It was quiet and hollow and last both an instant and an eternity. Death was a sad and lonely state.
Exactly twenty four hours after his deletion, Azure Kite's program booted up, all his files intact. The AI coughed violently, choking on some water still lingering in his chest. As he gasped for air, his core relit, azure flames shooting out from the hole where his arm used to be. He was suddenly very aware of being awake. For a moment, all he could do was stare up at the ceiling and breathe as he tried to organize his thoughts.
He checked his memory files. Beast Boy had been acting erratically, so he had gone to investigate. The hero attacked him, removed his arm and bracelet, then... there was water all around him. The memory cut out after that.
And he didn't remember ending up in a bed. Kite blinked. "H-haa?"
