How to trivialize history in a few easy steps (contains pictures and intelligence..somewhat)

I'M BACK ! Aren't you glad? This is also not a depressing post.
I promise it's a fun ,interesting post even if long.  I also promise there is intelligence hidden in this post...not sure about wisdom but intelligence ...yeah,why not  so read ,took me an hour to write LOL and there are pictures in the end too :D

People who know me know I like history and geography. People who know me also know I like finding funny stuff in every situation and that I never generalize or condemn anything as a whole. People who know me also know I can be fascinated by the weirdest of stuff . For ex I have a fascination with Chernobyl ,I'd like to go visit one day , I've seen thousands of pictures and all the documentaries I could get my hands on,every bit of original footage from those days and even poor irradiated people. It is of course a terrible even in human history and it is a real shame it happened but since it's all done and we can't take it back I find it very fascinating . Same with Auschwitz , I have a huge fascination with it and have seen everything I could get my hands related to it, I've even seen the piles of dead bodies and whatnot and I will one day go visit. Again, terrible event ,it was  unfair, uncalled for and the product of a bunch of disturbed minds ,I wish it never happened but it did, can't take it back so I am fascinated with it ,even the gory details. To me ,all these massacres and wars, all the tragedies are lessons history is ready to teach every one of us if only we were open minded enough to look at them as they should be looked at, everyone should learn about them because the world would be better off, these all had to happen for us to live in this quite peaceful world with all the advanced technologies, etc.

Having said that...well ,my favorite part of recent history is the history involving the Nazis, it's the most exciting, interesting, fascinating one really . Sure, I'd rather this regime never came to be but it did and I wasn't alive back then, people suffered ,got killed ,innocent men and women went through Hell and not everyone deserving punishment for these crimes got any BUT historically speaking it was an interesting time to learn about/discuss. I strongly believe that if Hitler hadn't killed all those jews he would not have been remembered in history as the Devil he is remembered now. The guy was nuts, bonkers, bananas and probably quite the frustrated guy deep down , he was nasty and had some pretty horrific ideas but the genocide is what ultimately gave him the worst part of his reputation. After all, he lived in a time when ideas of world domination were still pretty alive ,empires had just crumbled or were crumbling ,wars were still a pretty casual thing and totalitarian leadership was still the bomb in many parts and in many forms. If we think about it now...the russians had the gulags ,not much different after all . Still...that man was sick and some of the ones around him were just as sick an frustrated *cough*goring*cough* .

Thing is that I don't agree that everyone in the regime was bad. As the case is nowadays most people who go to war don't do it because they want to kill others and rule the world, they do it for money, recognition, duty, patriotism or cause propaganda ate their brains. Some of those nazis were just random people who got mixed up in this usually either cause they were brainwashed or because it was rewarding to them and their families, because they lived in that state,at that time and to be successful meant to be in the nazi elite . It's also interesting to think of this because it really does show, once more, how a small group of people or just one person and/or idea can manipulate and control millions and especially how dangerous it is to allow someone like that to rule your nation.

Oh well, if you read the above wank which you might or might not agree with , let me show you how I manage to trivialize this and even fangirl .

1. they had the best uniforms in the world and OMG they should have kept them going cause they are just clothes, clothes designed by HUGO BOSS btw. Remember those leather coats? I feel like I should be feeling guilty or something every single time I watch a documentary cause God damn those are fine uniforms, all of them,so pretty.
2. watch some of Hitlers speeches, the flaming ones especially . Hahahaha, I sometimes wonder how anyone actually fell under his spell, he was cray cray and those gestures with his hands and his head and ..he looked like he had some potent energizers running through his system.
3. did u know Hitler was a failed painter and architect? A sensitive soul :))

this all brings us to our last point for today and the most exciting one .

4. did you know Hitler had a chief architect? Y/N? If yes ,did you know he was hot? If no then let me educate you, fellow middle aged men/gentlemen loving friends : his name was Speer and he was hot.  Most documentaries I've seen about Speer also mention that Hitler was very fond of him also because apart from him being a smart, educated, talented architect who could make his failed architects dreams come true ,he was also charming and good looking, imposing. Yes, quite probably he had a crush on him as well.
Ok so ,for those of you who don't know but care to know... Albert Speer was born in 1905 in a good family, his father was also a good architect. In his late 20s he became involved in Hitlers plans and soon was the chief architect who built lots of imposing, larger than life stuff. At one point during the war he became Minister of Armaments and War Production and he's known to have been so efficient that he basically helped germans stay afloat in the war even as their industry was heavily attacked and they lacked man power. In fact the only majorly bad thing he was involved in was the use of slave labor ,bringing people from occupied territories to work in the industry ,many against their wish but even that was not all his idea and he only cared about meeting the quotas .Of course he knew of the stuff going on in concentration camps, he must have known about the killings but he had no part in it so we can fangirl. He's also known as being the Nazi who said "sorry" . In Nuremberg while every other nazi was denying every accusation ,he condemned the regime, pleaded guilty even on the counts he couldn't really have been guilty for personally and he basically charmed everyone into not killing him , he got 20 years in prison although as a high ranking official part of Hitlers personal circle, his head was on the chopping block initially along with those of people like Goring(that fat bastard),Keitel, Ribbentrop, etc. He served his 20 years in prison although they wanted to let him out sooner but the pardon didn't happen cause the russians opposed it. In prison he wrote a bestselling book published after he came out,he kept a garden in one of the yards and walked the carefully measured length of a yard in a planned trip around the world . He donated a lot of the money earned from his book to some jewish organization/s(not sure). He was of course far more involved than he let it believe but definitely not a criminal or anything and he is definitely known to have been one of the few people to stand up to Hitler . He stood up to Hitler against the scorched earth order that Hitler gave when it was clear he had lost the war (it meant that the army should destroy everything in the path of the enemy troops so if they conquer germany nothing will be left of germany). Speer opposed this and countered Hitlers orders as much as he could then actually admitted it to Hitler who surprisingly didn't kill him(must have been that charm LOL). One of his sons, Albert Jr, is a very well known architect as well now.

want pictures? of course you do, pictures make everything worthwhile
