With a snort of agreement, Daj gave Kerin a vaguely sympathetic look over his own mug; "She's right you know - this is nice for round here. With a whole planet to pick from you'd think they'd go for somewhere a bit nicer."
"Yeah," Vana agreed, "We're not asking much. A tropical beach or two...maybe some surf..."

"Drink?" Vana volunteered dryly in response to the question. "Bother the tech staff. Have snowball fights when the section leader isn't looking."
"Borrow fighter craft for 'training exercises'," Daj added with a grin. 'Training exercises' was the generally accepted euphemism for joyriding.
